I easily fit Pioneer 2way 6 1/2's(TS-A1648) in my doors.....all I had to do is
drill 1 new hole.....these fit great......I would never put the 5 1/4's back
in......these 6 1/2's are slimmer than most other 6 1/2's, I think these are
only 1 13/16 deep. The only thing you really have to watch is to roll down the
window and make sure the magnet doesnt hit the window. I had about 1/4 inch
clearance for my application. For the rear I used Pioneer 3way 5x7's(TS-A5715)
and these fir perfect also. At the same time I put in a Pioneer CD deck and
all I can say is WOW, the sound is great, alot more bass and clearer music
overall than the factory crap paper speakers and deck.
