Sam,
I think the off idle throttle response will always be touchy given the fact
that there is no blade shrouding. Flow at low blade angles is a lot greater.
I am playing with a slightly revised design with bigger blades, but with
shrouding at low blade angles. Basically similar to the Stage I only 52 MM
plates. It requires an additional milling operation from the bottom side,
but it might be worth it. I have the body all machined, but I still need to
make the new plates.
