Jack, did he give you a ballpark price on it? I know he'll have to know
what it costs to make first, but I wonder how much I need to save
between now and the 1st of the year. Also, if you are planning on one of
these hoods, please let us know when they become available. I WANT ONE!

Got this message from Larry Davis of the DakotaRT mailing list . Terry
Delong at ProGlass is currently working on a SHAKER hood for the 97+ Daks .
He says that it is like a 2/3 scale version of the original SHAKER type
hoods that MoPar used to have . It is in R&D now and should be available by
the first of the year . I talked to Terry myself today and I can tell you
that Terry is in fact a great guy....we must have talked about Daks and
other stuff for 30 minutes or so , and he's gonna send me some pics of some
of his stuff , since he doesn't have a web site or a catalog right now . He
has an older Dak that is in Sport Truck Magazine , but I think he is
lookin' at a 99 R/T in Solar Yellow .

Anyway , he is great to talk to , and I told him that when he comes out wit
this hood that I am sure it will be a big seller .

I sure am glad that I didn't go ahead and order that SS hood from East
Coast Customs !
