Go with the 14x3 open element, get an edlbrock or another 14" open element
and throw a K&N filter in it its the least expensive way to do it. I've got
a 14" edlbrock with a 14X5 K&N in it on my truck. I payed $30 for the
edlbrock with a paper filter and $47 for the 14x5 K&N out of summit. Much
better than the $150 from K&N and more airflow than the cone filters....

Anyways, my choice for my upcoming R/T is to put on a universal K&N
14x3 filter or make my own air tube with cone filter. Just my 2 cents.
