My first car was a '73 Sattelite Sebring hard top with a 318 2-bbl and it
had 2.73 or 2.91 (can't really remember , but it DID start with a 2) gears.
It wouldn't do 140 , but at 120 it would start to kinda float (I don't know
exactly how to descibe it , but it would rock around on all four corners of
the suspension) on itself .
I always wondered what the top speed of that car would have been with a big
block and those gears .
I have 3.23's in that thing... I ran out of rev's at about
>140mph... he couldn't keep up...
