they are both the top of the line models...LE was used on 93(?) and down,
while the SLT was used on 94 and up. I think they use SLT+ now.

They are different chassis platforms on cars. Each chassis design is given
a letter to make parts easier to find(i'm guessing here). J-bodies are 87
- 94 Lebarons, L-bodies are the Omni/Horizon/Rampage/Shelbies, etc. 87-93
Daks are N-bodies.

The K&N filter is a cotton/guaze (sp?) filter that is covered with oil. It
lets more air in the motor while filtering it better. Catback exhausts
increase the amount of exhasut flow. Both increase both horsepower and
torque. Replacing the stock exhaust system with a cat-back(aftermarket
one) gives the exhaust less backpressure, and hence more power. Cat-back
exhaust also make the exhaust sound different. Most aftermarket systems
produce similar power, so a fair amount of us have bought a system that
makes an exhaust note (sound) we like.
