Both my 98 and 99 idle hot just under 1/2 scale and running down the road hot
about 2/3 scale.
When I first start the truck cold it rund about 3/4 scale for the first 10
minutes or so. I changed my 98 (5.2L) to Mobile 1 at 1,000 miles and noticed no
change in oil pressure. I have 1,600 on my 99 R/T now and I am going to change
to Mobile 1 at 2,000 miles.
