and women. I have been eavesdropping on the DML (archives) and thought how
cool it was that there were other
Dak owners out there. Not only that, but you are all gearheads too! I said
to myself that as soon as I got my e-mail stuff squared away I would join,
so, here I am.

  My name is Patrick and I am 35 yrs. old. I live an St. Croix, US Virgin
Islands. I am recently widowed and I love MY DAK. I have a 1997 4X2 Flame
Red CC, 5.2, auto, sure-grip 3.55, tire and handling pkg and various comfort
and convenience options. I have since then added a FIPK, Gibson duals cat
back, triple platinum Splitfires and Taylor spiro-core wires. I got the
dealer to install and paint (body color) the 4X4 fender flares on my truck
for FREE , that is a story by itself. They are also going to repaint my
front bumper (body color) for FREE: that is because the black paint is
peeling off. Next on the mod list are some new meats, I think I will go
with
275-60-15's all around. It looks like I will go with the Dunlop GTQ's based
on what I have gathered from your discussions.

  I get to do quite alot of spankin' down here. I run hard all the time(
not with passengers) and have yet to be beat on the street. As far as I can
tell, ther are NO trucks out there to run with a V-8 dak. I live for the
moments when I pull up next to a camarslo or bustang or some other japanese
"sports" car and they're over there reving the engine, egging me on. . . . .
. begging for a beating. I always comply and proceed to make them look
small in my mirrors. Rest assured,
the Dakota's reputation down here is safe. Bring on one of them
Lightweights .. er ...Lighnings.

I have a great idea for all you "open air" folks. You say that intake temp
is a problem, let me know if you want me to post the answer to your problem.
