One of the systems we used to install on 5.0 'Stangs was the Progressive NOS
System (TPS Actuated).
As for the 150K mile engine...well...maybe it was time to rebuild the thing
anyway. I can positively state, going from my experiences with the Ford SB
Motors, that they have a life span of about 80-100K miles (with
modifications). Stock form lasts a hell of a lot longer. Between the NOS
kit and the Paxton Superchargers we used to install, the Paxton still won
hands down due to the design and lower "wear & tear" on the engine.
(Used to work for a shop in San Jose, CA that was "Charlie's Mustangs"
direct competitor. Charlie didn't like us very much.)
