So, it's friday night. I have a 3 hour drive to go to the Berkshires to
go hunting on the last day of deer season in Massachusetts. I dash
out the door from work and jump in my Dak. Turn the key. RRRRRRR.
RRRRR. VROOOMMMMM!!!! Wait a couple of seconds to let 'er warm up.
puh, cough, wheeze, sputter, puh. check engine. (no SH*T check engine!)
RRRRR, vroom?, puh cough. check engine. (F**K!) RRRRRR. RRRRRR. RRRRR.
Yeah, I have the heavy duty battery. Good thing to. It's starting to
get REALLY COLD. I remove the hat from the TB. Sniff, Sniff.
NOTHING!?!
What the ??!!??? OK, fine you little puke. Accelerator to the floor,
rrrrr
rrrr. Nothing. Sniff Sniff. No fuel. Over a 1/4 tank of octane left.
Good thing I have the extended warranty and road side assistance.
I called my fiancee. She picks me up in a huff. But she drove me from
boston to the berkshires so I could hunt last day. The truck was towed
be Tower Hill Towing from Lawrence MA. Are you supposed to tip these
guys?
I have to call the dealership... Will a fuel pump be covered under
warranty?
I'll be sending in the pic of the tow. I couldn't resist. The first
I had to have the DAK towed, and she's got 59.9k miles.
WOW!
