It an original (special order - My dad is the original owner) 1969 AMC
Javelin/SST

232CID - Straight Six
2BBL - Carter Carb with the manifold from the Ambassador

It's basically a V8, heavy duty-hi performance (for 1969 that is) Javelin
but custom ordered with the Six and a 2BBL. The Sixes came with 1 or 2bbl
carbs...but they didn't have factory Carter carburetors. Suspension was
salso pecial ordered from AMC. (AMX Suspension and POSI rear-end).

It sounds stupid...POSI on a Inline-6...but my dad was forced to "keep the
gas mileage reasonable and the tickets down" by none other than my mom.

I've kept the car in almost perfect condition and can't force myself to sell
it. I've got a picture of my sister and I looking through the back window
at age 4 and 6...and one of my two boys in the same position and same age.
(Two generations...wonder if it'll last three.)
