Sounds pretty cool! I'd like to take a look at it when you're done! Or
at least at some pics! :-) Are you planning to use an H pipe to equalize the
pressure between the two cylinder banks?
I've thought it might be cool to have a true dual system using 3" pipe
and a couple of 3" Gibson or Race Magnum mufflers. Can you immagine what
people might think when they see two 3" (or 4" chrome tips) sticking out the
back of the truck, and then their reaction when they learn that its 3" all the
way up to the headers? :-)
The only thing though is that I've already put a bunch of money into my
exhaust as it is, and I don't want that to be wasted... Plus, I've got almost
no backpressure now as it is with a single 3" setup... :-)
BTW: I've heard that when you dump duals out to the side, the sound
isn't as
good. (Supposedly you're only hearing 4 cylinders at a time, so it doesn't
sound
as nice as a single or duals that exit in the same place.) I've never heard
a system like that though, so I don't know for sure. ?
