The following is my $.02. I received it from a very, very knowledge
friend and colleague.

The "Join the Crew" and "Win a Holiday" viruses are hoaxes. For details

However, there's another brand new, very serious, virus to be on the
look-out for. It's called "Remote Explorer" and it really clobbered
MCI/WorldCom last week. This is the first known "intelligent network
