Ben sounds to me like the AIS motor, at least that's how mine acted when
it went bad. Get some throttle body cleaner and spay clean the throttle
body and see if that helps. If it's under wanty though by all means
take it in...

1000 is too high. It should idle around 700 - 800 I belive. Mine idles
about 650 with the MP computer...
