If we count 1 A. D. as the first year in our time system, you're
absolutely correct. I've realized this for a number of years, but plan to
remain silent about it until January 2000. The reason? The "eve of the
21st century" party is going to be awesome, so I want to enjoy it on Dec
31, 1999, then remind everybody that we're not really in the new
millennium, so we have to do it again on Dec 31, 2000.....pretty stupid
reasoning, I know, but hey....

Dak content: My Dak is staying in my garage on Dec 31 in both 1999 and
2000 (no drunk, including me, is going to wreck it)!!
