My AIS motor went out under warranty at 34,000, but my dealer gave me a new
one. At about 80,000 miles, I got a fault code for the AIS motor again, so
rather than dish out the $40 for a new one, I simply removed it from the TB
and used throttle/choke cleaner and cleaned off the tip that sits into the TB,
and the code went away. Maybe try this next time it happens, save you some
time and worries.
