Mark,
we are going to flow our ported 6ers to see if the CFM is equiv to the stock
8... Eliminates the need to open the intake manifold up, which gives a lot
of people the creeps unless its off the truck and taking it off gives ...a
lot of people the creeps! Hmmm $90.00 for a CNC ported TB or 200.00+ for a
stock V8? Even used V8 cores for '95 and up go for around 60.00-90.00
unless you can find em through "channels"...gotta try it at any rate for
that true 20 minute bolt on performance gain!

The V-8 t-body fit the V-6, but you have to open up the manifold to 2". My
experience is with the 98-99's only. When disassembled, the only difference
we could find was the bore diameter. all other items could be swapped
between them. It seems that a V-8 t-body makes sense, rather than goung to
the trouble of porting it.

One of the mopar mags had an article on this swap. I'll post the details
later.

Mark
