I see your point here Jules , but I don't really think that Josh was trying
to say that people should not shop at Magnum Performance , I think his
intentions were just to try and help someone out . Unfortunately , I
believe that some people (everyone being different) may interpret the
statement to the effect of "Buy this guys and don't buy that one's" .
Whatever the case , I can understand how it could be looked at in that
fashion .
I personally don't let stuff like that effect who or where I buy anything ,
unless I know first hand for myself that I have a reason for not doing
business there .
Although some may question your personallity (some more fairly than others,
and some really unfairly) , I don't think that I would ever let that keep
me from buying anything at Magnum Performance (even though I haven't
yet...I somehow waste the little extra money I do get on stuff I don't
really need....oh yeah, like I need something for my truck :) ) .
I would never and have never tried to convince anyone that they should not
do business with you or MPI based on anything that I have "heard" or
anything like that . Yes , you and I had our differences at times , but
that stuff just happens , it's part of life . I don't carry stuff like that
around with me forever . In fact , there have been many times that I have
recommended MPI and I always have the catalog on my coffee table .
It's like if I am talking to someone about a Dodge motor and we start
talking about mods and what-not and I can tell that this person is someone
that likes to do things himself , then I will mention every available
option that I know of , including MPI . If I am speaking to someone that
knows not much of anything (like the wife of an R/T owner that I spoke to
on the R/T Mailing List before x-mas) but that wants an option for mods for
the truck , then I will just tell them to give you a call and tell MPI what
it is that they want to accomplish . Different people , different
situations . Whatever the situation , I like to look at it from every
prospective .
