Lawn sprinkler? In winter? I'm afraid you'd you could be in a lot of
trouble if you tried doing that when it's below freezing. While in Salt
Lake I saw the neighbor's house with a mess attached to the side of their
house. There was a large frozen waterfall attached to the wall and their
pipes broke.

I highly discourage that in the north. Go the "do-it-yourself" car wash and
use their facilities instead. The high pressure hose will do a much better
job at removing the caked on salt and crap than a lawn sprinkler could even
begin thinking about.
