I got an accel super coil and some jacobs 8.5 mm wires and champion truck
plugs on mine. I gaped the plugs at .045 instead of .035 like it says. I
tested the wires with a ohmmeter and the stock ones were 15,000 ohms while
the jacobs were 250 ohms. BTW some 8.5 mm MSD wires were only 150 ohms.
Anyways, my milage did go up a little and it doesnt faulter at high rpms
(above 4700 it used to kinda wheeze out) Now it slams the redline and
shifts. I dont think this is like a big HP adder. I am glad I did it,
but I dont think I could really get better times at the track because of
it.
