Hello Gang, Got my Lab results so I thought I'd share em will you all.
I might be cool to see other peoples results for the same
motor. Maybe some of you could list your readings next to
mine so we can see the variations. I'm a lttle nervous about
my K+N now Bob
Notes: Universal averages show typical wear for the Dodge 3.9
The exam turned up above average iron,lead,tin and silicon
Iron was not too, bad but lead and tin (bearings) are getting up
there.
The viscosity would be high for a 15W40 silicon (dirt) could be
the cause of some of the wear. Suggest checking the air
filtration and resampling next oil change to monitor wear
