Turbochargers

I learned an interesting way to overcome turbo lag. Spray the motor
with
nitrous and use a boost sensor to shut off the nitrous when the turbo
reaches
boost. That way you get the bottom end torque, with the turbo top end
boost.

My 90 laser turbo has a CR of 7.8:1. The best HP setup was a 40hp shot
of nos kicking in at 3000
and shutting off at 6000 with a bigger intercooler and fuel enhancements
of course. The big negative about that setup was try to consistantly
luanch a fwd with massive hp. I could never get it to hookup
at carlsbad raceway. My best time with this combo was a 13.48 @ 110. I
learned alot about increasing the hp and they should all apply to my
dakota. For relibility with a increase in hp is
to go to normally asperated like headers, computer, intake, TB, and
exhuast. For a bigger increase
supercharging/turbocharging. Ultimate would be a supercharger/turbo
combo with NOS w/built motor.
