I average 19 mpg in my 95 318 auto extra cab, have gotten 22 before, and have
gotten 21 quite frequentley. The worst I've ever gotten is 15 and that was
towing a trailer on a 100 plus degree day in city traffic. I get better gas
mileage with my Dak towing a trailer than what I got with my Nissan four
banger. V8's can get decent gas mileage as long as they're well maintained,
and aren't geared down too low.
