Here's another option that might help. The older "LA" valve covers will
fit on the Magnums too! They only have 5 holes as opposed to our 10, but
they are a subset of the Magnum bolt pattern. With a good gasket sealer
("Right Stuff"?) They'll work fine.
Sean Meldrum did this on his '97 Dak. When he sold it, I bought the
covers from him, and I'm planning to put 'em on my '96 in the spring. I
don't know if there is any more clearance from the older covers or not
though.
