I also got my truck back last night it was in for the same problem tranny
noise in rev...the dealer said it "was operating within factory specs" and did
nothing (boy is it embarassing after I pay $20,000+ and one of my chevy
buddies gets in and says "whats that noise, didnt you just buy this truck?)
ohwell hopefully if it does blow up it will be within the warrenty period. I
also took it in for a weird feeling in the steering wheel. You all could do
this if you want ...drive the truck around in a fairly tight circle in an
empty parking lot and alternatly press on the gas then the brake...does it
make a "GA-DUMPH" feeling and sound from the steering wheel? Any body else
have this problem...its driving me NUTS. Again the dealer said his mechanic
couldent find any thing wrong. By the time I got there to pick it up the
service manager and all the mechanics had left for the day so I couldnt show
them the problems. So in the end, they had my truck for two days...I took the
bus...they beat on my truck...then they gave it back to me saying nothing was
wrong...what a pain in the ass!

Tired of the "ga-dumph" and the buzzy whiny trans
