this is one of my problems....should I be redline in 4th gear...or 3rd
gear???? If I go above the stock dia I will be in 3rd gear, correct????
If I go smaller in dia then it will push me into the 4 range.... What
if I add more power and torque later on???? I was hoping to find a tire
that will take me into the next mod, not hold me up....

Are you going to use the same set of tires at the track that you
use on the
street? If they are for track use only, you need a tire wide
enough and sticky
enough that when you pull out they just spin a little then grab.
Then you need
a tire diameter that will allow you to be just shy of redline at
the finish
line; the bigger the diameter, the lower your rpm's will be.
Gearing affects
        ET more than MPH.
