Picked up a rear "universal lowering block kit" today for my 99 dak and
found the U bolt spacing too small . Has anyone else lowered there 99
R/T? The rearend and axel housing is huge.

I lowered my R/T 1". The U-bolts that came with the ground
control kit were 3". The R/T
axle is 3 1/2". BTW don't go lower than 1". I tried 2" and it bottoms
out and is too low. I cut the bump stops and you'll hit the exhuast atv
2". 1' levels it out and looks great. BTW the support at ground control
is great. The kit from summit is not a direct fit the center pin has to
be filed and the
u-bolts are too small. Maybe the bell tech kit is a direct bolt on.
