Well, I'm done playing with my tranny with out spending any money extra except fluid and filter. Here are the result after pulling the pan 4 times to adjust the line pressure the way I wanted it. I adjusted line pressure to stock spec. and then by turning adjuster screw 2 full turn counter clockwise I raised the pressure. I also removed the springs for kickdown piston, and adjusted both bands a little tighter. The results are: my stock 99 R/T CC is shifting so much harder compare to stock tranny, when it's raining @ WOT from first to second gear I will put the truck sideways when it shifts. Adjusting the rpm shift points, you can do by adjusting kickdown cable at TB, you also make the tranny respond quicker by doing that. All the mods I done so far with the tranny is easier than installing a shift kit. I do have a extra valve body than a friend of my have modify, I will install that this Saturday and if it works the way I want to, meaning squealing tires when shifting to second gear. You will be able to buy that modification for about $50-$75. We are trying to get some kind of exchange deal on the valve bodies.
