Nope, it also splits the spark into 6 sparks for every 20degrees...this
gives more efficient burn, and the truck also idles easier, and starts
easier. One interresting thing though, is that some people report a WORSE
1/4 mile time w/ the MSD as opposed to without...I notice a jump in power at
about 3000 rpm, which is exactly where MSD switches to one long spark, not 6
short ones....if I knew how, I'd try going back to the stock
igintion...anyone know if this is just an UNplug and play kind of thing?
I'd like to test out the stock ignition?
