I was under the impression that the drop in HP and increase in torque
came in '94 and was due to the big ol' crimp in the y pipe. Does your
'92 y pipe look mashed? Any time anyone's under my truck who's not
familiar with a Dak always says, "Wow, you musta hit some big rock! Look
at this pipe! It's all pressed together." Of course, what they don't
think about is how smooth the crimp is compared to what it would look
like if it had been hit by a rock or something.

Anyhow, what's the deal with the cam? What was the change?
