This sounds just like the "BOSS/SHINODA" Ranger paint & stripe that I
asked about. It was silver w/ black stripes just like that. I don't
think it was very new though, probably about early 90's. From what I
could see & hear, it was completely stock and the paint/stripe was just
a graphics package. I agree, I thought it looked pretty cheesy on the
Ranger. I doubt it looked any better on the 'Stang. Give him a spankin'
