Yeah this makes sense now The 518 can handle more torque capacity thus found
at the flywheel of a big block.
So then the Dak with a 318/500/3.92s or 4.10s would optimize a race truck.
And the 6ers have the 500's
I remember my ol 87Dak w/the 904 seemed stiffer in 1st than the 92 does.

In this article they said the 46 RE wasnt the best choice. THe 92-95 lockup
518 (46RH) was preferred because of the hydraulic control. Dosent the
computer control shifting in 96 + 46RE's?
