Quick and to the point...

#1-- Does anybody have any idea if Chrysler will be offering (or renewing) a
rebate on the '99 Dakota after the 4/5/99 cutoff date of the existing $1,000
rebate (on a V8 Dakota)???
I wanted to special order one, but when I found out that by the time it hit my
dealers parking lot, it would be after the 4/5 date, and I could no longer get
that rebate. (And I really need that extra cash... I'm very tight on $$$)
That brings me to my next question:

#2-- If after 4/5/99 Chrysler does come out with another rebate ($500 or
more), I will plan on purchasing an R/T. Will I have any problem special
ordering one? I know they are limited production... so is there a chance I
may not even be able to get one? (I would be putting down the order in April
*IF* they have another rebate)

#3-- I already talked to my dealer, and he gave me an out the door price for
a '99 R/T with the following options:
Reg cab, rear slider window, PWR group, 4 wheel ABS, and NO air conditioning.
The total price was $19,800. (this price included dest. charges, but not
state tax, plate fees, or the rebate) Does this correspond to you guys out
there?

IF I end up getting a $1,000 rebate... the total price, including ALL fees,
ALL taxes, etc etc etc will be $20,049
I think that is a damn good price for a very nicely loaded SPORTSTRUCK..

Compare that price to the '99 Mustang GT I was planning on buying.. the GT was
going to be $22,000 WITH A-plan.... and... insurance was going to be TWICE
that of what my R/T will be...

THanks guys!
