Actually, you can stand an egg on its end on any day of the year anywhere
on the planet...except in a moving Dak <-- relevant Dakota content. The
theory that the equinoxes provide extra gravitational pull that allows you
to do this only on those days is compelling, but untrue. Anymore than the
alignment of the planets and stars affects your personality or your future.
BTW, there's only one "i" in equinoxi :-)
