I think that's the cubic inches talking. The 5.9L can utilize that extra
breathing by virtue of the fact that the cylinders can hold (and pump) more
air thru for a given time period. An engine is nothing but an airpump :^)

Has anyone noticed, there seems to be a real difference in the reaction
between the 5.2L and the 5.9L when removing the cat. Some say the 5.2L
loses Hp and torque at low end, while the 5.9L *wakes up*. Surely on the
5.2L the powerband has just moved up?? I know some are running the 5.2Ls
w/out the cat and w/high flow muffler, is this your conclusion as well?
The 318 seems to be more sensitive to less back pressure than the 360.
I'm thinking if theres little or no INTAKE, TB mods the worse the
reaction. (does this make sense?)
