I read in a mag. last sept. that Dodge was toying with the idea of dropping the magnum line of engines.The idea was to create a more fuel eficiant ,less emission
engine.It was said that a small V10 was in testing (only a 6ltr)supose to be smoother ,cleaner and more eficiant running.
I asked dealers even wrote chrysler but no answers to be found,can't remember the mag. damb i wish, i bought that one instead of just reading it and putting it back.
I was told by my local dealer in Nov of 98 that build out on the RAM's was a week ago and the DAKOTA R/T would be any day now,Orderd my R/T RC on the spot,untestdriven,unseen,unquestioned....i wanted that truck.....my R/T came almost a month to the day (the black pearl)
I find out that they are only now talking about not being able to order these trucks anymore(no news, the dealer lied to make a sale) Even the sales manager said that i would not be able to get one if i missed the nov 98 build out.Now they have three R/Ts on thier lot black cc........yelow rc......blue cc. Another lot in around the corner from me had a black cc Just seen the proud new owner ripping rubber the other night. in Hamilton only aweek ago there was like 5-8 R/T's on lots
