OK, I'm starting to get the idea that my can of never dull is supposed to be
damp inside. Well, the stuff I have looks like white insulation and dryer
than a popcorn fart! What is a popcorn fart anyway? So I guess maybe I got
a bad can, should I dampen it with water and let the water soak in or toss
it?? Thanks for the replies so far.

Are you sure you used the Never Dull correctly? I have used Never Dull for
years and it works great on my stainless tailpipe. Make sure you get a good
damp piece of Never Dull and saturate all the dirt and tar...let it sit for
a
minute you may need to rub some of the thick tar blotches with your
fingernail
then, rub it out to a chrome shine. You may need to repeat the process if
its
real dirty. I absolutely LOVE Neverdull...its shines most metal very
nicely...I'm sure there is other stuff out there but Never Dull is a great
bang for the buck. One can lasts me a year. Try it on the aluminum fittings
on
the air conditioning...its makes them like chrome. I polished my homemade
air-
intake with it. It was made from dull looking 3" electrical conduit...it
shined to a chrome finish! Pics of it can be seen on my web page. Definitely
DON'T use steel wool!
