As a matter of fact, I picked up 1/10 with the FIPK, and 2 more tenths after
switching to the functional ram-air hood... much better performance by a
longshot...

Subject: DML: Ram air hoses

A/C and refrigeration shops (major hardware stores too) sell an *insulated*
hose for air duct work. This hose would minimize heating the air in a ram
set-up. It looks like the clothes dryer hose except covered with insulation
and foil paper. However, why all the fuss?
Has anyone seen improvements (over a 14X3 K&N) with a ram air set-up?
Dr. Pat
