Today on the way to work I saw a late model Dak SLT that had been hit HARD
in the right rear bumper/quarter panel by a late model medium size ricer
coupe, probably a small Acura or mid Honda. The ricer was hit dead center
in the front. Don't know about the people, but the car driver will at least
get to know a Chiropractor very well, if not the ICU nurses. The car was
being pulled onto a flat bed wrecker - bad shape, totaled I would guess.
The Dak looked like it could drive on to work but will need a new quarter
panel and bumper, or at least a good body man.
For sure there is no fun or pleasure in this, and you can't really draw too
many conclusions, but at least the DAK came out way on top of this one.
Tough little SOB!
Does anyone else find it ironic that light trucks and SUV's are being
rapped by the feds and insurance idiots 'cause they generally come out
ahead in this kind of thing?
Any problem posting same message to R/T and DML lists, if it's of interest
to both?
