Here's my recipie for 13.5's:
1. Mopar HP-SBEC ($299)
2. Mopar Cam and valvesprings ($300)
3. Bowl-ported heads ($300)
4. JBA headers with y-pipe ($600)
5. High-flow mandrel bent exhaust ($250)
6. Ported & polished T-body ($290)
7. Ported intake ($80)
8. Electric fan conversion ($225) or shortbelt ($25, drag only!)
9. 180 degree t-stat ($5)
11. BFG drag radials ($300)
10. .............and if you have any money left, an MSD and roller rocker
kit. ($500)
TOTAL $3149 to get 13.5's (maybe even high 12's)
Or.........$500 for a nitrous kit to get low 13's
