Well, that is not true. if it were then we could all go running straight
pipes w/o any loss of torque. Had a straight pipe on my 5.2 for about 2
weeks, and when I put my Flowtech muffler on, I gained a lot of low end.
I don'tt hink it will hurt in this app., but what they told you isn't
true.
