OFFTOPIC wierd tire wear

My wife's 98 Chevy Malibu has some weird tire wear going on...The fronts
are wearing in the centers only, and the center of the tire actually dips
toward the rim, making a concave surface of the tread of the tire...

Anybody know what the heck this is? I have never seen a tire do this
before....
