Shift kits & Stall Conv Attn: Geoffrey

Glad to hear you got it done. I too installed mine yesterday. I took a
different approach, I had a Dodge Tranny Tech do it at the dealer after
hours. We pulled the tranny completely out as I was installing the stall
converter at the same time. If you did this while the tranny was in the
truck, my sympathy, that had to be a real bitch. In fact, you guys must
have been on your backs for several hours. You have earned all my respect.
I love the shifts, it lays a decent patch of black marks, and puts you back
in your seat for sure. The stall converter made such a difference I can't
even describe it. I raced several cars last night, and I beat every one of
then at least 1-2 lengths right out of the hole. What a launch...be ready
for this mod, I had to re-learn how to drive my truck. It's nothing o lay
a patch of marks, REAL quick...

Well, I installed the shift kit, w/ my brother. It was a bitch, but well
worth it. I just got back from a test drive with my brother. It works
very well. Eventhough, I don't have enough torque to chirp the tires, it
shift 100 times better than stock. As for the details, the video tells
it all. Just follow the video, as well as the instructions, and it will
be fine. If you know nothing about trannys, I would suggest you get it
done somewhere. My bro did all the work, I just looked on. Oh, as for
the video saying to tilit the pan back, don't bother, it don't work. We
both got a bath of tranny fluid. Get
alot of fluid to refill the tranny. It took almost 2 1/2 gallons for
mine. Good luck on yours.

Later,
Geoffrey
