To any nearby and interested DMLers:
What a great morning it turned it out to be weatherwise.
I reconned the area. The plant is about 35-40 minutes
from Burlington, Ont. [about 80-85 minutes from the
Niagara Falls/Lewiston border, I would imagine].
This is one huge plant [must be where they assembe the
Intrepids and the Concords]. The front [on Williams Pkwy.]
has 2 gate entrances; the rear [on North Park Dr.] also
has 2 gates. I have no idea which one will be used.
Here's the info. to date:

Additional information/suggestions from previous Spring Fling meets:
1. Bring folding chairs. There is no shade so umbrellas will help
on a sunny day.
2. You could previously buy sausage hot dogs and pop ... you
may want to pack a cooler with your own food and drinks.
I did not see many malls nearby.
3. A DJ plays music, mainly from the 60's/70's, and announces
prize winners from a ticket you get in the 'doggy' bag.
4. Portable potties should be set up.
5. If interested, bring camera and plenty of film. There are
quite a few interesting and nice Mopars from all years there.
6. Vendors mainly have parts for older Mopars but a couple
are into memorbillia-type items (models, literature, etc).
Some suggestions that should be decided upon by beginning of May.
1. We could all meet at the Petro-Can gas station on Williams
Pkwy and do a short convoy throught the gate. If everyone
is interested in this, it would probably be better to do
this by 9 a.m. so that we can all park together in the meet.
Downside is that it's awfully early for those trucking
from a long distance.
2. I could meet those coming from the Niagara area on the
QEW at Burlington and we could convoy up.
3. I was planning on leaving a little earlier to see which
gate will be used. I'll probably drive the '70 Challenger
and Dave, my son, will drive the DAK.
4. I have not read recent posts as yet but I think the
DML stickers may be ready in time for the meet.
That's it for now. Any ideas/suggestion are most welcomed.
Let's just get it settled by May 1st.
I'll post another update as information comes in.
Happy trucking
Bob
