The Maaco's and Earl Sheibs have a cheap price because they don't
include body work, they don't do much prep if any before laying on the
paint and they don't mask the trim for sh*t. If you want any or all of
this done, it'll cost extra. Also be ready for an imperfect finish,
bumps, lumps and runs. They also have a "better" paint job, but by the
time you get done paying for all this, you'll wish you saved up a little
more money and got a good job done to start with.
If you do choose to go cheap, I'd suggest you sand, fill, and mask
everything yourself, then get Cheapo Inc. to lay on the primer and
paint.
You can have the Blue done now and get a vinyl stripe/stripes made for
it later, vinyl is cheaper than paint, and just as good. Alan S.
