Ah yes...the "Good Old Days" of "Peaking and Tweaking" the CB's. Haven't
messed with that since I blew up my last one 7 years ago.

K40 makes a Mag-Mount kit for your antenna...and it's not that expensive
either. (Personally, I was always fond of the Wilson 1000's.)
