Kyle, NO! I have heard that they really really suck. I am using a 15
inch dinky antenna myself, just because it is one of those that sticks on
the window and I couldnt bring myself to drill holes in my pretty new
truck. I used to run a 102 inch steel whip on my old S-10 and I can tell
you it was the best. I have talked over 10 miles with it before
"Barefoot". I am lucky to get 1.5 miles on this little guy. It doent
matter, I only use it for talking on the interstate with. PS, the range
just got way way better when I got a swr meter and fixed it. It was
really messed up. I would advise you to get one if you dont have one,
they are worth the $.
