Air Bags: Increasing Payload

I have the Firestone "Ride Rite" air bag system on my Dakota. It can handle
more payload than your axle can take (5000lbs). I purchased 3 kits to make my
system. There are many kits to choose from and you can mix and match the kits
to make a custom system. My system is leveled from within the cab and has a
fast inflate capability with dual air compressors and a reservior tank. There
are auto leveling kits and such. My whole system ran about $700. The basic
airbags are $200 but no compressors and they are manual inflate at the bag. I
got the whole system from Patrick (Shetland@erols.com) here on the list (I
hope I got his address right). It took about 2 hours a kit (6 hours) to
install. I'm making a webpage with the details.

I am also interested in increasing the payload and leveling characteristics of
my '92 CC Dak, especially when trailering my boat. What I am considering is
one of the "air bag" override systems, probably from Hellwig. The bags and
lines go for about $175, without a compressor. Has anyone out there used this
type of system, any comments, good or bad will be welcome.
