Rich and DML,
I think we've seen this one before on the list.. It is a hoax. I have heard
that, because of the widespread distribution (it's so easy to hit the
forward icon in your emailer...), it has actually spawned some copycat
occurrences of needles showing up in payphones. See the following link (and
try to get past the fact that the guy in the picture looks like David
Copperfield!)

BEFORE you hit forward!
