=>Bottom line..... four items ordered and three of them are screwed up. Is this
=>the normal quality control I can expect from Dodge?

It's not just Dodge. I took off work a little early yesterday to install
my shiny new Smittybilt nerf bars. Missing one of four 12M x 120mm x 1.75
bolts. These things are about five inches long...how the hell can you miss
them? Unfortunately, I could only get one of the bars on because these are
the replacements for the cab bolts and the stock one ain't long enough.

Today I'm running around with a lopsided Ram :(

At lunch, I went back to the truck accessory shop where I bought the bars,
and they sure seemed put out that I wanted that bolt and that they had to
pilfer a new kit. No apology, no nothing. Well, that's exactly how much
more of my business they're gonna get.

On the plus side, the Smittybilt bars look and fit quite nice. No drilling,
just bolt up to the cab bolts with crinkle-finish brackets and a couple of
support brackets held to the body by hanger bolts. Half the price of the
mopar bars and they look identical. SB might even make the mopar bars...
